EVENTS
We hold a series of fund raising events throughout the year. Everyone is welcome on these occasions. Some are drop in events held at the Animals’ Home, others are held throughout the city and may require tickets. Upcoming events are listed below, and more will be added as they are arranged. They will all be fun and raise vital funds. Please feel free to contact us if you require more information, or would like to volunteer to help at one of our events.
FUN QUIZ NIGHT
Saturday 17 March, 7.30 pm at the Railway Institute, York. Teams of 4, £8 per person to include a hot supper. Tickets from the Gillygate shop or the Animal Home, Landing Lane. If you don’t have a full team come along anyway and join a team on the night.
1920s EVENING
Recreate the glamour of the roaring 20s at our very special evening at the Parsonage Country House Hotel in Escrick on 28 April 2012. Tickets are £40 and include dinner, a complimentary drink, dancing to the Gershwin Band and casino.
VEGAS AT THE HILTON
Following our successful Vegas Night in November 2011, there will be another on 5 May 2012 at the Hilton Hotel, Tower Street, York. Tickets £40 to include dinner, a complimentary drink, disco and casino.
FLAG DAYS AND COLLECTIONS
Throughout the year we hold several flag days in York and need helpers who will hold the tin for an hour or two. Please use the form on our contact us page if you can help at our collections in 2012

First Sunday in the month 2 – 4 pm. Join us at the Animals’ Home and
have a cuppa and a look round.
