Our wonderful volunteers:

Fred the handyman – Fred calls in most days and gives us his time ‘odd-jobbing’ around the Animal Home. A valuable service which would otherwise have cost us a lot of money.

Peter the electrician – Peter volunteers for us once a week and provides a variety of electrical services free of charge, including PAT testing goods for sale in our charity shop and fixing lights and fittings at the Animal Home.

All our volunteers at the animal Home who help us with dog walking, cat socialising, home visiting and looking after the animals.

Shop volunteers – thanks to the fantastic team of volunteers who have worked tirelessly this year to make our charity shop on of York’s success stories.

Gardeners – our volunteer gardeners Julia and Susan have improved the grounds at the Animal Home and were instrumental in our gaining an award from Yorkshire in Bloom.
