Adopt an animal

Charlie

Age: 4 YearsSex: MaleBreed: Jack Russell

Found their forever home!

Charlie is a sweet natured dog who came to the centre as his previous owners could no longer keep him, Charlie is a very shy boy who takes time to trust people he does not know. Potential adopters will need to give him the time and patience he needs to settles and get to know them. Once he knows you he is ever so affectionate and will sit on your knee and fall asleep, a real lap dog.

Charlie prefers the quiet life so we are looking adopters who will make him feel safe especially while out on walks as he does find new situations quite daunting. He likes to take things slowly and at his own pace, he likes to investigate areas and take everything in. So long as his new adopters understand his needs Charlie really will be a smashing addition to the family, he will be a very loyal and faithful best friend. Charlie will need someone that is home the majority of the time as he really struggles being left on his own, he will need teaching that it is ok to be left for short periods.

Charlie really is a very sweet boy who is missing being part of a loving family, he will an adult only home where there are no other pets.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

DUE TOTHE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
