Adopt an animal

Hagrid

Age: 1 year approxSex: MaleBreed: Lurcher

Found their forever home!

Hagrid is such a sweet lad who came to the centre via an inspector after he was found with serious injuries to his body, he suffered wounds to his head, legs and also sustained a fractured jaw. This amazing boy has bounced back and has the most fantastic nature, he is very forgiving and actually really loves being with people. Hagrid is still recovering from his fractured jaw so any potential adopters must be willing to bring him back to the centre for check ups.

Hagrid does not let his past stop him from enjoying life and living it to the max, we are looking for active adopters who will take him on long adventures and show him the good things in life. He has missed out on so much, it is now his turn to find his happy ever after and find his very own family to love and cherish him.

Hagrid will need some extra socializing around other dogs as he can be a bit unsure with some dogs and not know how to react, he just needs some reassurance around them and have a family who will make him feel safe.

Hagrid would be best suited to being the only pet in the home and can live with children aged 8 years and over.

Hagrid will need to remain in the York area due to his required vet checks.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
