I may be able to live with another cat
Age: 8 years approxSex: MaleBreed: Domestic Short Haired (DSH)
Heath came to the centre as a stray with an horrific eye injury after being found collapsed on a grass verge, this poor lad was in a terrible state. After seeing the vet it was determined that unfortunately his eye could not be saved due to the severity of the injury so he underwent emergency surgery to remove the eye. Heath recovered extremely well from his surgery and soon became the sweetest cat we could wish for.
When he first arrived here he was very nervous which was to be expected after the trauma and lifestyle he has led before he came to us. Once he settled in and got over his surgery his true character started to come through, he now loves to be in the company of people and will always come running for some attention and head rubs. Heath really is a very special boy who has shown such courage throughout all his treatment, he has a very forgiving nature and really will make a great addition and best friend for a new family.
Heath could possibly live with another cat as he has not shown any aggression towards any of the cats in our care at the moment. He would be suitable to live with children 10 years and over so long as they understand he will need his own space while he settles in and finds his confidence in his new home.
DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS CAT.
I’ll probably spend more time inside
I could live with children of secondary school age
I’m a shy guy; I’ll need time to settle
