Kevin came to the centre via an inspector in appalling condition, he was found living on the streets after being abandoned and left to fend for himself. When he first arrived he was very fearful and untrusting of humans which is understandable after all he has been through. As time went on Kevin became more trusting of us and soon learnt that life was meant for cuddles, comfort, food on tap and a kind hand to stroke him with.
Kevin is still timid when meeting new people so will need patient adopters who will give him the time he needs to settle and regain his confidence. Once he knows you he is a happy boy who loves coming for fusses and attention.
Kevin received all the veterinary treatment he needed but unfortunately due to his past neglect he has been left with some health problems. Kevin sometimes gets a blocked nose and sneezes a bit, this will come and go throughout the rest of his life now, he copes very well with this.
Kevin is FIV positive so will need to be a house cat and the only cat in the home unless the existing cat is also FIV positive. He will need an adult only home. Please do not let this put you off this amazing cat.
