Adopt an animal

Oakley

Age: 14 monthsSex: MaleBreed: SpanielAdoption fee: £200.00

Oakley came to the centre after he did not settle with the previous existing dogs, he is a very sweet and friendly boy who is now looking for a loving new home. Oakley can be quite shy when first meeting new people but once he gets to know you he will be your best friend. He is a very loyal dog and bonds very quickly to his family and will love you forever. He is a happy, playful and energetic dog who has such a zest for life.

He will need adopters who are active and willing to take him on interesting walks and lots of adventures, he loves his walks and being out and about in the countryside. Oakley will need some further training which he will totally enjoy as he is intelligent and keen to learn. He will need adopters who will not leave him on his own for long periods as he is not used to being on his own.

Oakley is on pain relief for a previous injury to his back leg which he will need to continue on for the rest of his life. He manages very well on his medication and does not let if effect his enthusiasm for life.

He could live with other dogs after a successful introduction at the centre and could live with children aged 13 years and over.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
