Percy came to the centre via an inspector after his needs were not getting met, he was undernourished and had been living in appalling conditions. Percy has been left very untrusting through all the neglect he has suffered and is very scared of people he does not know. It will take quite some time for him to learn to trust people again, he will need adopters who have lots of time, patience and a bucket load of TLC to help him regain his confidence back.
Unfortunately Percy can become quite defensive and is known to swipe at you if you try and do too much with him, he just needs adopters who will understand him and see life from his point of view and all he has been through. We can see there is a loving cat hiding in there and just needs a chance to shine. Adopters will need a spare room they can dedicate to Percy until he has settled in and gained his confidence, he has been through so much in his short life. We would love to see him happy and settled in a new home where he is loved and cherished just as he deserves to be.
Percy will need an adult only home where he will be kept as a permanent house cat.
