Adopt an animal

Rodney

Age: 9 years approxSex: MaleBreed: Domestic Short HairAdoption fee: £90.00

Rodney came to the centre as an unclaimed stray in appalling condition, this poor lad had been abandoned on the streets and left to fend for himself. It was clear to see he needed help and fast, his mouth was extremely sore, he had a lump on his chest and he had achy joints. Rodney was booked into the vets and had the treatment he so desperately needed.

Rodney is a sweet boy who was so very nervous of everyone when he first came in, this is understandable after the way he has been neglected by people. Slowly he learning to trust and is beginning to enjoy having a stroke and is even enjoying his grooming sessions. Rodney will need adopters who have the patience and understanding to let him settle in his own time and be the fantastic pet we know he wants to be. Street cats can make the most wonderful pets if people just give them the chance they need. He will need an adult only home.

Rodney has tested positive for FIV so will need to be a house cat and will need to be the only cat in the home, please do not let this put you off as staff will be more than happy to discuss his condition and any worries you may have.
