Adopt an animal

Taz

Age: 9.5 years approxSex: MaleBreed: Staffy x American BulldogAdoption fee: £150.00

Taz came to the centre via one of our animal hospitals after being taken there via an inspector, very little is sadly known of his past. He is a happy go lucky kind of dog who enjoys life and is always happy to see people. He greets everyone with such enthusiasm and just wants to be loved.

Taz has such a giant heart with so much love to share and is not shy to show it. His happy attitude to life brings a smile to everyone he meets and it is hard to feel anything but love towards this sweet boy. He can get quite giddy and excitable when it is walkies time and can forget his manners and have a chew on the lead but he is easily distracted with his favorite treat which to be honest is anything that is edible!

We would love to see Taz happily settled in his new home with his new family enjoying life like he should. Taz has some stiffness in his joints and is on daily medication for this which his adopters will need to continue with. He can only manage a few short walks throughout the day but he really enjoys these walks and makes the most of his time out. Taz is not comfortable around other dogs so adopters will need to walk him where there are not too many other dogs around.

He is best suited to a home where any children are aged 14 years and over and would need to be the only pet.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

WE ARE STILL UNABLE TO REHOME TAZ UNTIL THE REMAINING RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED BUT WE WILL NOW START ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HIM. DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE ONCE THE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED AND WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AGAIN.
