JOB VACANCY – Fundraising Administrator

Hours:            22.5 hours per week, flexible hours to be agreed. 

Contract:         Permanent with one year probation.

Reporting to:  Branch Fundraiser

Location:        Primarily home based working but some York office based working will be required

Salary:            £9,360 to £9,840 (FTE £15,600 to £16,400) depending on experience

A new and exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate, to join the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District Branch as Fundraising Administrator, providing administrative support to the Branch Fundraising Team in order to maximise income from fundraising activities.

The duties will include:

To support the Branch Fundraising Team and fundraising activities in order that income can be maximised from supporters and potential supporters

To effectively and efficiently provide an administrative and information service 

To provide a high standard of customer service to supporters, staff, volunteers and members of the public with regard to fundraising activities

To support the Branch volunteer event fundraisers and staff when appropriate

To help raise the profile of the Branch and to promote the Branch animal welfare and income generation in the local community.

JOB VACANCY – Events Fundraiser

Hours:            37.5 hours per week over 5 days per week. 

Contract:         Permanent with one year probation.

Reporting to:   Branch Fundraiser

Location:         Primarily home based but some York office based working will be necessary.

Salary:             £21,500 to £22,500 depending on experience

A new and exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate to manage and develop existing and new events to increase income to the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District Branch. We are looking for a highly motivated events fundraiser with a proven track record in income generation.

The duties will include:

To maximise net income from both third party and Branch organised fundraising events: developing new events within the Branch’s catchment area, growing existing events and event participation to assist the Branch in the achievement of its aims and objectives.

To support and develop the Branch volunteer event fundraisers and staff where appropriate to increase income.

To help raise the profile of the Branch and to promote the Branch animal welfare and income generation in the local community. 

Effective liaison with the appropriate Society staff (both regionally & nationally) may be needed to achieve these objectives and to ensure that Branch activities and policies comply with Society and Branch Rules, current legislation and best practice.
