Adopt an animal

Albert & Arlo

Age: 5 & 1 years old approxSex: MaleBreed: Shih Tzu

Found their forever home!

Albert and Arlo came to the centre via our local dog warden after being found in appalling condition, they were so badly matted and were ever so scared. They have now been clipped, bathed and pampered so are ready to start looking for their forever home.

They are still on the shy side when they first meet new people but once they get to know you they are ever so affectionate and will jump on your lap for snuggles. They are very much bonded and help each other gaining confidence, we will be looking for them to be adopted together. They will need patience adopters who will help them come out of their shells further and begin to enjoy life. They can be a little vocal on the lead when other dogs come too close but this is more out of fear than anything else so this will improve the more confident of the outside world they become. They really have come along in leaps and bounds since first arriving at the shelter and we would just love to see these two boys settled in a loving new home.

They will need an adult only, pet free home.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THESE DOGS. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET THEM.
