Adopt an animal

Archie & Bruno

Age: 2-3 years old approxSex: MaleBreed: Springer SpanielAdoption fee: £250.00 each

These gorgeous boys were brought to the centre via inspectors after being found living in the most appalling conditions. Their coats covered in urine and faeces and lots of matts, they must have been in so much discomfort. They have now started their road to recovery and we now feel they need to start their search of their forever homes.

They have all grown up in a multi dog household and sadly had no experience of the outside world, we are slowly introducing them to new situations and people. They are coming on great but things must be taken slowly as to not overwhelm them as everything is a little bit scary at the moment. They will all need understanding adopters who will give them the time, patience and love they need to adjust to living in a family home.

Bruno is the most confident out of the two and is vey characteristic of a springer spaniel, he is very active and is a very busy boy, always on the go and looking for new things to investigate. He has missed out on so much and is now looking forward to a life full of adventures and lots of making up for lost time. Sadly Bruno's tail was too badly damaged for us to be able to save and he has had to have it amputated, he is recovering from this procedure but is now on the road to recovery.

Archie is a little more shy when meeting new people but is coming out of his shell daily, he is very affectionate when he knows you and really relies on his people to keep him safe and looks to you for reassurance. His character is showing day by day.

Bruno and Archie can be homed together or separately, Bruno could be homed on his own but Archie would prefer to live with another confident dog.
