You’ll need to take me to training classes

Bandit's previous owner realised that this young enthusiastic teenager needed more time and attention than he was getting. Dogs are usually adolescents between 9 months and 2 years of age - which means Bandit has all the good parts of being a teenager, and a few of the less fun bits too! Bandit would love to take part in a dog sport like agility, fly-ball or canicross, so hes definitely going to make sure his new family stays fit! Some kind of ongoing training or learning will help focus his intelligence, and our Behaviourist will be happy to help you find the right activity for you.
Bandit is: keen, enthusiastic, energetic and delighted to meet new people ( and dogs). Bandit responds well to food treats, and adores playing games with toys - so its really easy to reward Bandit.
Bandit has been working on: his polite conversation skills with other dogs (teenage enthusiasm can quickly turn into rudeness), self control and manners (not bouncing all over new friends), listening carefully when asked to do something.
Are you the right family for Bandit? You will be used to large breed dogs who can be strong on lead. You're excited about learning new activities with Bandit, and you're not looking for the couch potato kind of dog. You're interested in dog body language and want to help Bandit read social situations more carefully, so he can make more friends.
I need someone with me most of the time
I'd prefer not to live with a cat
I’d prefer an adult only household
I’m always on the go
I may be able to live with another dog
I love food and treats
