I may be able to live with another cat
Bean
Age: 7 monthsSex: MaleBreed: Domestic Short Haired (DSH)
Found their forever home!
Bean came to the centre via one of our inspectors after his welfare needs were not getting met, he has been in a foster home while he has been recovering from his injuries and he is now ready to start a new life with a new family who will love him and let him enjoy life like he should have been.
Bean is a confident cat with such enthusiasm for life, he lives life to the max and wants to enjoy himself every minute of every day. He has been in a foster home where he shares his family with dogs and other cats so he will be suitable to be re homed where adopters have other cats ( younger ones that will tolerate a lively youngster running around the place). He would be able to be re homed where there is a cat friendly dog in the home also and would be suitable to live with children aged 8 years and over.
Sadly Bean sustained some injuries which although now have fully healed may cause him some issues in the future which may require veterinary treatment which would need to be covered by the adopter. He had his femoral head removed and has some cloudiness in one of his eyes, he can be a little clumsy but none of these cause him any discomfort and he carries on life as normal. Staff will be more than happy to discuss any of this with potential adopters when they submit their applications. For his own safety Bean will need to be kept as a house cat so adopters will need to think of new things to keep this playful and active boy entertained.
Due to the expected high volume of interest we will be getting for Bean, we will be collecting questionnaires and selecting the most suitable home, so please do not be offended if you are unsuccessful in adopting him this time. It may take staff a little longer to go through the applications so please do be patient with us.
PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AREA.
