Adopt an animal

Bear

Age: 7 monthsSex: MaleBreed: Large crossbreedAdoption fee: £200.00

Bear came to the centre as sadly his previous owner was moving house and unable to take Bear with him, at only six months old Bear is still a youngster so has lots to learn about life. Bear is super active and likes to live life to the max, he is still under training and learning new things all the time. Bear will need adopters who are used to large breed dogs as we are expecting him to grow some more and he is already quite a big lad.

Bear is a fun, happy and goofy guy who has the best years of his life ahead of him, he just needs adopters who have the time to put into his training which he thoroughly enjoys as he is loves to be with his people and spending quality time with them.

Bear will need adopters who are at home most of the time while he is still young so he can learn that it is ok to spend time on his own. Bear is strong on the lead but is undergoing some training for this which adopters will need to continue, he learns quickly so this should not be an issue for much longer.

If you are looking for a fun, happy, playful, friendly and loving dog and not put off by a bit of training then Bear is the dog for you. He can be quite boisterous around other dogs but again he is young and still learning, if he were to live with another dog they would need to match his activity levels. He is suitable to live with children aged 8 years and over providing the children are dog savvy and not worried by some boisterous but friendly behavior.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

DUE TOTHE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
