I walk nicely on a lead
Bertha
Age: 4 years approxSex: FemaleBreed: Tibetan MastiffAdoption fee: £200.00
Bertha is a very sweet girl who came to the centre via an inspector after her needs were not getting met, sadly her beautiful coat was in such appalling condition that it had to be completely shaved off. We are now just waiting for it to grow back all glossy and beautiful like it should be.
Bertha is a lovely girl who just makes everyone she meets smile, she loves to go on her walks and potter around, taking everything in. She is a very gentle girl with a heart of gold and takes everything in her stride. Bertha has had a tough start to life and has missed out on so much, she is now ready to make up for lost time and start living her best life.
Sadly Bertha does have some slight hip dysplasia that she is on pain relief for and will need to stay on indefinitely, she takes this well so please do not let this put you off such a smashing dog.
Bertha is sociable with most other dogs and can live with a compatible one after a successful introduction at the centre and could live with children aged 10 years and over.
My personality...
I need someone with me most of the time
I could live with children of secondary school age
I’m a gentle giant (big and strong)
I may be able to live with another dog
I love fuss and attention
