Adopt an animal

Billy

Age: 2.5 yearsSex: MaleBreed: LurcherAdoption fee: £200.00

Billy came to the centre due to his previous owner no longer being able to take care of him, he is a sweet and friendly boy who will make a wonderful addition to the family. Billy is such a happy dog with such enthusiasm for life, he is always super excited when it is his turn for some attention. He can be a little excitable and giddy but he soon calms down for a fuss, he is a young lad who is looking forward to going on lots of new adventures with his family.

We are looking for adopters who match his active lifestyle and will not leave him on his own for long periods, he is not suitable for first time dog owners unfortunately. Although sociable with other large breed dogs he can be a little overly boisterous so further training would be beneficial. He is suitable to live with children aged 13 years and over.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

WE ARE STILL UNABLE TO REHOME BILLY UNTIL THE REMAINING RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED BUT WE WILL NOW START ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HIM. DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE ONCE THE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED AND WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AGAIN.
