Adopt an animal

Buzz

Age: 6 yearsSex: MaleBreed: Labrador x

Found their forever home!

Buzz came to the centre as his previous could no longer give him the time and attention he needs, he is an extremly friendly boy who just loves being with his people. Buzz is 90% blind, he can only see shadows but he really does not let this stop him living life to the max and enjoying himself. He is a happy dog who just craves attention and would sit and fussed all day if he could.

Buzz still really enjoys his walks and will need an active family to take him on exciting and interesting adventures, Buzz does rely on his people to keep him safe whilst out on his walks, he can be taken by surprise quite easily so adopters will need to consious of this and ensure anyone saying hello to him does it in a safe way as to not surprise him. Buzz copes very well with his condition so we are hoping this will not put any potential adopters off as he really is a smashing lad who will make a fantastic pet. Buzz will also need adopters who will not leave him on his own for long periods as he struggles when he is left for long periods.

Buzz can be unsure around other dogs so he will be best suited to a home where he is the only dog although we would not disregard adopters who have a calm female dog. He is suitable to live with children aged 8 years and over.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
