Adopt an animal

Charlie & Kacie

Age: 7 yearsSex: VariousBreed: HuskyAdoption fee: £300 for both

Charlie and Kacie are brother and sister who came to us as their previous owner could sadly no longer take care of them, they are extremely bonded to each other and are pretty much inseparable so we will be looking for adopters who will adopt them together, they come as a pair.

They are such sweet natured dogs who just love fuss and attention, true to husky form they can be very vocal and love to show off their singing abilities. They are quite strong on the lead when going for walks so potential adopters will need to work on that a little bit. We are looking for adopters who have previous husky experience. Charlie will need muzzling when visiting the vets and when he is being groomed as he can be a little reactive which could be down to past bad experiences, this is no problem as he accepts the muzzle really well.

They are housetrained and can be left for short periods on their own, they are best suited to an adult only home where they are the only pets.  We will be collecting Applications for Charlie & Kacie and selecting the most suitable home for them.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THESE DOGS. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE ONCE THE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED AND WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AGAIN.
