Poor Charlie came to the centre via an inspector after being found shut in a shed, he had pretty much spent most of his life shut away on his own. He was completely emaciated when he was rescued by inspectors and had a severely damaged tail. Sadly we were unable to save his tail and he had to have it amputated. We were so shocked at how thin he was yet he remained one of the sweetest boys there is.
Charlie has settled in with us so well and has taken everything in his stride, he is eating well and putting on weight nicely although he still has a way to go. Charlie has a heart of gold and we all absolutely love him to bits, he will make someone a truly wonderful friend and companion. Charlie has been through so much and totally deserves his happy ever after.
Charlie is super social with other dogs and can easily live with another dog after a successful introduction at the centre and could live with children aged 10 years and over.

I need teaching that it’s ok to be alone
I could live with children of secondary school age
I’m quiet but full of love
I get on well with many other dogs
I love food and treats
