Adopt an animal

Diamond

Age: 6 yearsSex: FemaleBreed: Crossbreed

Found their forever home!

Diamond came to the centre via an inspector after his previous owner could no longer keep her, she was ever so nervous when she first arrived at the centre. Diamond has grown in confidence and settled in well now and her true happy bouncy character is coming through.

Diamond is still very shy when meeting new people so potential adopters may need to do a few meet and greets before taking her home. Once she knows you she is a really sweet, friendly and playful dog who just loves life. Diamond is a very active and energetic dog so will need her new family to take her on nice and exciting adventures.

Diamond is very sociable with other dogs but can sometimes forget her manners and be a bit boisterous with them, she means no harm so she could do with a little guidance on doggy etiquette. She may benefit from some training classes or learning agility or something along those lines.

Diamond is suitable to live with another dog after a successful introduction at the centre and children aged 13 years and over.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HER.
