Genty

Age: 12 years oldSex: FemaleBreed: Golden Retriever

Found their forever home!

Genty came to the centre via an inspector after being found living in the most horrendous conditions, she was so underweight and her coat was a mess. Genty has put weight on and is on the road to recovery, Genty is still receiving some vet treatment for a skin condition but we feel she has improved enough to start looking for her second chance.

Genty is hands down one of the sweetest and most gentle of dogs who has an absolute heart of gold, she craves attention and will literally just sit for hours getting stroked and having time spent with her. Genty has missed out on so much of what life has to offer so we are looking for adopters who will give her the best of life, she deserves to be spoilt and cherished.

Genty is a very forgiving dog who just loves and wants to be loved, we would love to see her happy and settled in a home filled with so much love.

Genty is on pain relief for some arthritis which she will need to stay on for life now, she is very sociable with other dogs and will be able to share a home with a compatible dog after  a successful introduction at the centre. She is also suitable to live with children aged 10 years and over.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

DUE TOTHE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HER.
