Adopt an animal

George

Age: 2.5 years approxSex: MaleBreed: Domestic Short Haired (DSH)

Found their forever home!

George came to the centre after living his entire life as a street cat, he is a very nervous boy when meeting new people and adjusting to new situations. He will need patient and understanding owners who will see life from his point of view, up till now George has learnt to avoid people at all costs. He has learnt to live life on the defensive, searching for food and a dry place to stay. Now we have to slowly teach George that being around people is a good and nice thing and something not to be afraid of.

George has come on so much since first arriving at the centre that we now feel he is ready to face the big wide world again and find a home to call his own. It will still take time for George to fully trust people but he is slowly gaining trust and we believe once he is in a home he will improve so much quicker. We are looking for adopters who will give him that time and space he needs to settle and for them to help him overcome his insecurities. He may look big and hard but deep down he is just a scared little boy who just needs someone to open their heart and let him in.

George will need to be the only pet in an adult only home.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS CAT.
