Holly

Age: 3 years approxSex: FemaleBreed: Crossbreed

Found their forever home!

Holly came to the centre via an inspector after being found in appalling condtion, she was so emaciated and her coat was so dull. Fast forward a couple of weeks and Holly is now a picture of health, she soon put the weight on and is now at her ideal weight and her coat is shiny and healthy. Holly really is one of the happiest dogs we have the pleasure of looking after, she even smiles and every day is good day for Holly.

Unfortunately Holly came in to the centre with a damaged tail and despite our best efforts sadly we were unable to save her tail so it had to be amputated. Holly still wags what is left of her tail so much as she is just such a happy go lucky girl, she can be a little reserved on first meetings but once she knows you she is the most loyal and amazing dog you could wish for. Holly really will make a family a very wonderful addition and a fantastic friend.

Holly is suitable to live with children aged 12 years and over and could possibly live with another dog after a successful introduction.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

WE ARE STILL UNABLE TO REHOME HOLLY UNTIL THE REMAINING RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED BUT WE WILL NOW START ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HER. WE WILL BE COLLECTING APPLICATIONS AND SELECTING THE MOST SUITABLE HOME. DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE ONCE THE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED AND WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AGAIN.
