I walk nicely on a lead
Kiki
Age: 4.5 yearsSex: FemaleBreed: Cocker SpanielAdoption fee: £200.00
Kiki is a sweet girl who came to the centre via an inspector due to her needs not getting met, after lengthy legal proceedings we can now start looking for a loving family to take her into their home. Kiki is a very shy girl when meeting new people and when being exposed to new situations and surroundings so we are looking for patient and understanding adopters who will take things at her own pace. Kiki is an extremely loving and affectionate girl who loves to snuggle up for cuddles once she knows you, it does not take her very long to learn to trust you so long as it is all done slowly as to not overwhelm her.
Unfortunately due to her past neglect Kiki does suffer with some anxieties for which she has been seeing our behaviourist for, any adopters will need to commit to carrying on with her training, working alongside our behaviour team. We are looking for adopters who have a predictable lifestyle e.g, predictable work hours and where there will not be many visitors to the house until she settles in. She will need someone who is at home most of the time to begin with and be able to gradually build up the time she can be left on her own. There will be post adoption behaviour support for Kiki and her new family.
Kiki is such a lovely girl who really does deserve to find her very own family who will show her how to enjoy life and just be a dog. She has missed out on so much and has so much still to learn and experience, she would love to feel the sand beneath her toes, have an ice cream and enjoy the countryside. She loves her walks and in true spaniel style normally hasher nose to the ground.
Kiki will need to be the only pet in an adult only home.
