Adopt an animal

Luke

Age: 4 years approxSex: MaleBreed: Domestic Short Hair

Found their forever home!

Luke came to the centre after living most of his life as a street cat, left to fend for himself in all weathers and conditions. Luke has understandably been left very untrusting of humans due to his bad experiences living life on the streets. Luke will need very experienced cat owners due to his misleading behavior. Adopters will need to give him the time he needs to settle but also be able to study his behavior and get to know his ways.

Luke is a very confused cat and still needs to learn to trust humans, he wants to be friendly but will loose his nerve very quickly and tell you in no uncertain terms he is not happy. Luke may never overcome his insecurities after living so long on the streets but we believe he deserves his happy ending.

Potential adopters will need to understand that the road ahead may be a long tough one but one that we believe can be conquered given time.

Luke will need an adult only home with no other pets, he will need to be kept indoors for a long time but in time he will be suitable to be able to go out and explore. We know the home Luke needs will be hard to find and we are asking a lot but after his start to life we believe he deserves a chance to be happy.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS CAT.
