Mary Lou is a very sweet girl who came to the centre via an inspector after her previous owner could not meet her needs. Mary Lou is such a friendly and lovable cat who really will make a wonderful addition to the family. She is happy, playful and such a great little character, she will often sit chirping away at us and enjoying all the attention she can get.

On first meetings she can be a bit on the shy side but she takes next to no time to settle and then will just love you forever.

Mary Lou could possibly live with another cat and children aged 12 years and over.

We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in York is raised in York and Harrogate and surrounding areas. Income is also generated by our charity shops in Goodramgate, York, Acomb and Selby.

Meet our gorgeous boy, Milo. Milo has really drawn the short straw in life, being bred specifically for his ‘silver colour’, and has now been diagnosed with the genetic condition named ‘Follicular dysplasia’ due to this. This means he suffers from skin irritation and fur loss. Despite this, Milo is the most special, fun loving lad, who loves everyone and everything he meets.
