I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
Age: 10 years approxSex: FemaleBreed: Domestic Long Hair
Pamela came to the centre via an inspector in appalling condition, her coat was so matted and had to have a large chunk of it shaved off. She was quite underweight but is slowly putting the weight back on, Pamela was routinely blood tested as we could tell there was something not quite right with her. Her bloods showed that she is hyperthyroid for which has now started medication for. Adopters will need to be able to bring Pamela back to the centre for a few more blood tests until we get her stabilized on the correct dose of tablets. If adopters are not able to come back they will need to take the cost on themselves at their own vet. Pamela has come on so well since arriving at the centre so we feel it is now the time she found her forever home.
Pamela finds the hustle and bustle of cattery life quite scary and hides most of the time in her voyageur, when we sit nice and quiet with her she comes out and sits on your knee and just loves to be stroked and purrs her little head off. Sadly the smallest of noises sends her back into hiding. Pamela really does need to be in a nice quiet home with patient adopters who will let her settle in her own time. Please do not let this lovely lady spend anymore time in here.
Pamela is a housecat.
I need to be kept indoors
I’d prefer an adult only household
I’m a shy guy; I’ll need time to settle
I would prefer not to live with a dog
