Adopt an animal

Perry

Age: 3 years approxSex: MaleBreed: Springer SpanielAdoption fee: £250.00

This gorgeous boy was brought to the centre via inspectors after being found living in the most appalling conditions. His coat covered in urine and faeces and lots of matts, he must have been in so much discomfort. He has now started his road to recovery and we now feel he is ready to start his search for his forever home.

He has grown up in a multi dog household and sadly had no experience of the outside world, we are slowly introducing him to new situations and people. He is coming on great but things must be taken slowly as to not overwhelm him as everything is a little bit scary at the moment. He will need understanding adopters who will give him the time, patience and love he needs to adjust to living in a family home. But on a happier note, when he does know you he is a very happy, playful and typical spaniel who will do absolutely anything for a game of ball.

Perry is an both active little dog and loves being busy, he is ball mad and just love having the freedom to run around and play. Perry is still getting used to the outside world and some things scare him still, we are slowly getting him used to traffic and loud noises. He will need a home with a secure garden for him to run around in and burn off his energy as it will be a while before he can be let off his lead.

He can live with other dogs, will need an adult only home and will need someone at home most of the time while he settles in and adjusts to family life.
