Sweet little girl who came to the centre via an inspector after she had been abandoned by her previous owner. Originally were three little gerbils but sadly Royal is the last girl as her sisters have both passed away. Royal is a sociable little gerbil who will make a great little companion.

We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in York is raised in York and Harrogate and surrounding areas. Income is also generated by our charity shops in Goodramgate, York, Acomb and Selby.

Meet our gorgeous boy, Milo. Milo has really drawn the short straw in life, being bred specifically for his ‘silver colour’, and has now been diagnosed with the genetic condition named ‘Follicular dysplasia’ due to this. This means he suffers from skin irritation and fur loss. Despite this, Milo is the most special, fun loving lad, who loves everyone and everything he meets.
