I walk nicely on a lead
River
Age: 8 years oldSex: FemaleBreed: English Springer SpanielAdoption fee: £200.00
River is a very sweet girl who came to the centre as she was unwanted after her previous owner got a puppy and the puppy was too much for her. River really is the sweetest most gentle and loving dog you could wish for, she is an absolute delight to have the privilege of looking after. River is struggling to settle in to kennel life and misses being in a home and part of the family, we would love to see her happy in a new home.
River walks well on the lead, she loves her walks and makes the most of every moment out and about, she walks well with other dogs although is not the playful kind of dog so if she was to live with another dog she would need an equally quiet dog that is not going to bother her, she much prefers her own space.
River has undergone some major surgery to remove some mammary masses and will need another one before she is adopted. She has been such a brave girl throughout and not let this get her down. River will need someone who is at home most of the time as she does struggle when she is left on her own. River really is a very loving girl who will the family lucky enough to adopt her a very special friend.
River could live with children aged 8 years and over and possibly live with another compatible dog after a successful introduction at the centre.
