Adopt an animal

Roger

Age: 9.5 yearsSex: MaleBreed: Boxer

Found their forever home!

Roger came to the centre via an inspector after being found living in terrible conditions, he was also extremely underweight. Roger is slowly putting weight on and is now ready to start a new chapter in his life. Roger is a very friendly boy and just loves meeting people and enjoying life. Roger is a pretty chilled out boy with bundles of energy and loves nothing more than getting out and about with his humans and going on new adventures. He loves his toys and will run up and down with them throwing them about and keeping us entertained with his goofy antics.

Roger has missed out on so much fun and explorations and he is looking forward to making up for lost time with his new adopters. Although Roger is sociable with most dogs he can take an exception to some dogs, he would be best suited to be the only pet in the home. He is suitable to live with children aged 10 years and over.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

WE ARE STILL UNABLE TO REHOME ROGER UNTIL THE REMAINING RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED BUT WE WILL NOW START ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HIM. WE WILL BE COLLECTING APPLICATIONS AND SELECTING THE MOST SUITABLE HOME. DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE ONCE THE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED AND WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AGAIN.
