Adopt an animal

Rolo

Age: 13 weeksSex: MaleBreed: Domestic ShorthairAdoption fee: £150.00

Rolo came to the centre via an inspector, this little boy is so very lucky to be alive. He was found by some workers at a recycling depot about to be crushed by some machinery. Thankfully the diligent workers heard his cries and rescued him just in time. How he ever ended up there in the first place we will never know, the inspector picked him up and rushed him straight to the vets where he was found to be underweight and dehydrated. He was put on a drip and given all the veterinary care he needed, he was then brought to the centre for rehabilitation.

Rolo was so scared and traumatised by his ordeal but the staff have been working hard with lots of patience and love to help him overcome his insecurities. He has come on so well but still has a long journey ahead of him, he will now purr and allow staff to give him a fuss which he seems to enjoy now. He will still run and hide with sudden movements and loud noises but this is improving day by day. We can see little bits of his character shining through as every week passes, we now feel this will improve better and quicker in a home with a loving new family. His new family will need a spare room they can put him in until he settles in to a family environment. With lots of love and patience Rolo will make the most wonderful addition to the family.

Rolo could possibly live with another cat and will need an adult only home.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS CAT.
