Adopt an animal

Timmy

Age: 3 years approxSex: MaleBreed: GreyhoundAdoption fee: £200.00

Timmy is a great dog who came to the centre when he was retired from racing. Timmy is super friendly and has settled in at the centre with no issues at all. He is genuinely a very lovely lad who is enjoying everything in life, he loves going out for his walks where he has impeccable manners on the lead, he loves his snuggles with the staff and will lean in for as many cuddles as he can get. If only he was smaller he would be on your lap snuggling in.

Timmy is quite a tall greyhound and can get a little bouncy when excited but he soon calms down after the initial excitement is over. Timmy loves his zoomies when out in our paddocks and loves that he can now run for fun with no expectations that racing life brings. He really is a happy boy who has such a zest for life, he will make the family lucky enough to adopt him the most wonderful best friend. He is looking forward to a life full of adventures and fun with his very own family.

Being an ex racer he will never have lived in a home so his adopters will need to help him adjust, greyhounds tend to settle in to the home just fine and even better if he had a sofa to snooze and chill out on.

Timmy would be suitable to live with another dog of similar size after a successful introduction at the centre, unfortunately he can not live with cats or small animals. He would be suitable to live with children aged 12 years and over.
