Adopt an animal

Trinity

Age: 2.5 yearsSex: FemaleBreed: German ShepherdAdoption fee: £200.00

Trinity came to the centre via an inspector after her previous owners asked us for help to re home her, she is a really sweet girl once she knows you. Trinity is extremely timid when meeting new people and time will need to be taken while she gets to know you, once you have earned her trust she will be the most loyal and faithful friend anyone could wish for.

We are looking for adopters who are either experienced German Shepherd owners or have previous experience with nervous dogs. Trinity is a cheeky, playful girl who makes us all smile with her antics, she really is an absolute gem with a heart of gold. Trinity is very protective of her owners and we are looking for adopters who work with a behaviorists and help her overcome her insecurities.

Trinity does suffer with hip dysplasia and is on pain relief which she will need to stay on for the rest of her life. Adopters will need to take on the cost of her medication. She manages with a few smaller walks throughout the day rather than long walks.

Trinity will need an adult only and pet free home.

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE  COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE RE HOME TO ADOPTERS WHO LIVE IN THE YORK AND SURROUNDING  AREA.

WE ARE STILL UNABLE TO REHOME TRINITY UNTIL THE REMAINING RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED BUT WE WILL NOW START ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HER. DUE TO THE COMPLEX NEEDS OF TRINITY WE WILL BE COLLECTING APPLICATIONS AND SELECTING THE MOST SUITABLE HOME. DUE TOTHE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE ONCE THE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED AND WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AGAIN.

My personality...

I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)

I need teaching that it’s ok to be alone

I'd prefer not to live with a cat

I’d prefer an adult only household

I’m a gentle giant (big and strong)

I’d prefer to be the only dog in a home

I love fuss and attention
