Adopt an animal

Walter

Age: 2 years oldSex: MaleBreed: German Shepherd x

Found their forever home!

Walter is a really sweet boy who came to us via an inspector after his needs were not getting met, he was very underweight when he first arrived here at at the centre. He has been gaining weight nicely so we now feel he is ready to start his search for his forever home. He still needs to gain some more weight to reach his ideal weight. Walter is a friendly lad but due to his past he can be a little unsure when meeting new people for the first time. His new family will need to give him reassurance and help him overcome his insecurities.

Walter walks well with other dogs and is actually more confident when he is walked with another dog, he loves to carry one of his toys with him as a bit of a security blanket. He will need some further guidance around traffic as he can find busy roads and loud noises rather daunting. He is an intelligent boy and keen to learn new things. Walter will need his new adopters to be at home most of the time as he is not used to being left on his time.

Walter is a fantastic dog with so much potential, he just needs someone who will help him face the big wide world and all life has to offer. He will need an adult only home and is suitable to live with other dogs after a successful introduction at the animal home.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING, IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
