You’ll need to take me to training classes
Wilson
Age: 3 years oldSex: MaleBreed: LurcherAdoption fee: £200.00
Wilson came to the centre via the local Dog Warden after he was found tied up and abandoned in terrible condition. Wilson had a very painful skin condition for which he has been on treatment for, it has been a long road to recovery for Wilson but he is finally ready to start looking for his forever home.
He was ever so shy and nervous when he first came to us and was quite shut down, the staff have worked hard building up his confidence and trust. His character has shone through and he has turned in to a playful, cheeky and loving little boy. He still can be shy when meeting new people so he will need understanding adopters who will help build his confidence even more. He has come along way but still has a little way to go with his rehabilitation.
We do not think he has ever been taught to be on his own so he will need someone who is at home most of the time while he is settling into his new home. He is an affectionate dog who just needs a chance to shine. He is sociable with other dogs and could live with another after a successful introduction at the centre. He could live with children aged 14 years and over.
DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE ARE RECEIVING IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT MEANS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL THIS TIME FOR THIS DOG. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO THE CENTRE TO MEET HIM.
My personality...
I need teaching that it’s ok to be alone
I need an adult only home
I’m quiet but full of love
I may be able to live with another dog
I love fuss and attention
