You’ll need to take me to training classes
Dennis
Age: 11 months approxSex: MaleBreed: Great Dane Cross PointerAdoption fee: £200.00
Dennis is a wonderful dog who came to the centre via the local stray dog service, he is a big, strong fun loving guy who needs a family who will take him under their wing and show him the ropes. Dennis is still very young and has so much still to learn about the world, he has not had the best start to life. Dennis was extremly underweight and generally not a happy dog when he first arrived here at the centre. He still needs to put some more weight on and he is still not fully grown so any potential adopters will need to bare this in mind when applying to adopt him.
Dennis likes to live life like there is no tomorrow, staff are working hard along side our behaviourist to help him calm down a little and take everything at a slower pace. Dennis is doing ever so well with his training and actually really enjoying engaging with his people. Adopters will need to carry on with his training which he will thoughly enjoy. He can become frustatrted while out on a walk when pssing other dogs but it is only because he wants to play with them, he is still learning not all dogs want to play with a dog of his size and energy. He is very sociable around other dogs but can become a little too giddy so he is still learning doggy etiquette.
Although Dennis is sociable with other dogs, he will need to be the only pet in an adult only home.
My personality...
I need teaching that it’s ok to be alone
I need an adult only home
I’m a gentle giant (big and strong)
I get on well with many other dogs
I love food and treats
