I walk nicely on a lead
Domino
Age: 5 years approxSex: FemaleBreed: Saluki CrossAdoption fee: £300.00
Domino is a sweet girl who came to the centre via the local Stray Dog Service. Unfortunately we do not know her history but Domino is a shy girl and very nervous around people she does not know and unfamiliar surroundings. Domino is slowly coming out of her shell and has bonded well with the staff that are taking care of her. Lots of love and patience and Domino is now starting to realise that people are not all that bad after all. We do not know what trauma she has previously been subjected to but we want her to know those days are behind her now, only good times ahead from now on.
Domino will need patient adopters who will keep her safe while slowly building her confidence, she is still getting used to going out on a walk and this must be taken at her own pace. Busy places and busy roads worry her so we are looking for adopters who live in a quiet area with access to quiet dog walking areas.
Once Domino has bonded with you, she really is a very sweet girl who loves her affection and spending time with her people. Domino is very sociable with other quiet dogs and gains confidence when in their company, it would be great if she could be homed where there is an existing dog. We would love to see Domino happy in the forever home she deserves.
Potential adopters will need to do multiple meets at the centre with Domino before adoption to build up a little bond to make her transition in to a home successful. She is suitable to live with a compatible dog after a successful introduction at the centre in an adult only home.
