About Fleur

Fleur is a very sweet girl who came to the centre via The Stray Dog Service. Fleur was really quite nervous when she first came to the centre but has slowly been coming out of her shell now that she is learning to trust people. Once Fleur has settled into her new surroundings and her confidence has grown, she is a very friendly girl who loves to sit on your knee getting cuddles and snuggling in to you.

Fleur can be a little vocal when out and about, her initial reaction is bark first and investigate second, she is actually really sociable with other dogs when she has met them. We feel that Fleur has missed out on a lot of socialisation when she was younger but with some training and guidance she is improving. Fleur will need adopters who are home most of the time as she is showing some signs that will more than likely have some separation anxieties when left on her own. Adopters will be getting some advise from our behaviourist to help her settle in to her new home.

Fleur will need adopters who will be willing to allow her on the furniture and for her to sleep in the bedroom with them. She loves nothing more than snuggling in and spending time with her people. She will make the family lucky enough to adopt her a wonderful addition to the family.

Fleur is suitable to live with another dog after a successful introduction at the centre and children aged 14 years and over.
