About Jock

Jock is a really sweet boy who came to the centre via an inspector after being found living in appalling conditions, not only was he completely emaciated and dehydrated he was being forced to live in filthy conditions. Confined to a dirty and dingy cage for most of his life, Jock is now ready to leave his past behind him and start searching for his forever home.

Despite the cruelty and neglect Jock has suffered he is such a lovely, kind and gentle natured dog, he is now making the most of his freedom and enjoying life like he should. He is a happy boy who really loves being with his people, he is now making up for living in solitary for so long. Jock seems to take everything in his stride and is just loving life, all he needs now is his very own family who will love and cherish him in his older years.

He would love a family who will let him on the sofa and snuggle up with them, he loves attention and will sit for cuddles all day long if he could. He will need understanding adopters as it is unknown if he has ever actually lived in a house before, so someone who will not leave him on his own for long periods would be great.

Jock is suitable to live with a female dog after a successful introduction at the centre and could live with children aged 13 years and over.
