Kamia is a really sweet natured girl who came to the centre as her previous owner could no longer keep her. Kamia is a quiet and shy little girl who is desperate to find herself a new family. She is finding kennel life a little overwhelming so we would love to see this gorgeous girl in a new home. She would prefer adopters who lead a quiet lifestyle and someone who will give her some time and patience while she adjusts.

Once Kamia knows and trusts you, she really is such a lovely girl who just loves her snuggles and quality time with her family, she would love a family who will let her curl up on the sofa with them and watch tv. She is a loving and gentle dog who really will make the family lucky enough to adopt her a wonderful companion.

Kamia is suitable to live with another calm, compatible dog after a successful introduction to the centre and an adult only home.

We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in York is raised in York and Harrogate and surrounding areas. Income is also generated by our charity shops in Goodramgate, York, Acomb and Selby.

Important Notice: Kennel Cough Outbreak Unfortunately, we have recently experienced an outbreak of kennel cough at the animal home. Kennel cough is a highly infectious respiratory illness in dogs, most commonly causing a persistent, hacking cough, and can in some cases lead to further complications.
