Adopt an animal

Nora

Age: 16-18 months approxSex: FemaleBreed: Sharpei crossbreedAdoption fee: £200.00

Nora is a sweet girl who came to the centre via The Stray Dog Service. Nora was in terrible condition when she first arrived needing immediate veterinary attention. Nora had untreated severe entropion in both eyes and could barely open her eyes, she was more than likely born with the pain condition and was just left to suffer with it. She was started on pain relief and eye drops and after her legal 7 days were completed she was signed over to the centre and her date was booked for surgery to finally relieve her of the painful condition.

Nora has coped with everything incredibly well and is now beginning to trust people and enjoy life, Nora has stolen the hearts of staff here at the centre and is ready to find her forever home. Nora has many puppy characteristics and will benefit from adopters who are happy to do some training with her. She must have missed out on so much before arriving at the centre. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, with her eyesight being compromised while she was young she is just a bit wary until she gets to know you.

Nora loves her toys and loves to do zoomies in our secure compounds, watching her being able to have fun and just be a baby is wonderful to see. She is a very affectionate girl who loves to be the centre of attention, she will make a super addition to the family. Nora will walk nicely with other dogs but gets nervous if they get too much or pester her and walks well on the lead.

Nora will need adult only home where she is the only pet in the home.
