The Branch is now seeking to increase its fundraising activity in relation to the capital project. We are looking to bring on an experienced individual to design, launch and lead our capital campaign and raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project.

From donations to volunteering, we need help to care for the animals that are brought to us, for so many different reasons.
We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in York is raised in York and Harrogate and surrounding areas. Income is also generated by our charity shops in Goodramgate, York, Acomb and Selby.
Do you enjoy running? Do you want to run for a great cause? The York 10K is the perfect place to do that while raising vital funds for York Animal Home. The York 10K is a very popular and beautiful city run. The route starts at Knavesmire Road, takes in some of York's historic landmarks and then ends back at Knavesmire Road. How to enter.
Are you a runner? Looking for your 2026 fitness challenge? We have free places available for the York 10k on August 2nd.
