Our Virtual Buy a Brick Wall is a fun and meaningful way to support the development of our new puppy accommodation at York Animal Home. Simply choose a virtual brick, make your donation and personalise it with a name in honour of yourself, a loved one or a special pet.
As the wall fills up, it will gradually reveal a heartwarming picture featuring some of the puppies who found their forever homes through York Animal Home. But keep your eyes peeled... one cheeky kitten has managed to sneak into the picture too!

How to donate to the wall
First click on an empty brick(s) to select. Use the side bar to complete the donation form with the option to add a message to your brick if you wish. Then fill out your personal details to proceed to payment.
On Desktop: After selecting your bricks, click on the 'Purchase your bricks' sidebar to open the donation form.
On Mobile: The 'Purchase your bricks' will appear under the puzzle wall. Use the zoom into the wall button to open a large view of the wall and select your brick, then close or click 'Donate' to return to the donation form.
Why we need to rebuild
The buildings that have served York's animals for more than half a century are no longer fit for the future.
Despite the dedication of our staff and volunteers, many of our facilities are ageing, difficult to maintain and no longer meet modern animal welfare expectations. Some accommodation is already unusable.
Our puppy facilities can only accommodate a fraction of the animals they were originally designed for.
Our cattery is increasingly challenging to maintain and future licensing requirements could place our ability to continue caring for animals at risk.
The animals deserve better. Together, we can build it.
