Meet this beautiful boy Dave, a gentle soul with a heart of gold and so much love just waiting to give.

This lovely rescue greyhound adores his people, loves a good cuddle, and if there’s one place he’d choose to be, it’s snuggled up on the sofa beside his family! Once he knows he’s safe and loved, he’ll give his whole heart to his new family and become a loyal, loving companion.

Having spent his entire life in racing kennels, Dave has never experienced the comforts of a home before. Everyday household sights and sounds, and even ordinary items we take for granted, will all be completely new to him. He’ll need a patient, understanding family who will give him the time, kindness and reassurance he needs to learn about this wonderful new world at his own pace.

Dave may have a few things to learn, but what he already has in abundance is a heart full of love. He is a very gentle boy who deserves the chance to discover what it means to be part of a family, to feel safe, to be cherished, and to finally have a sofa to call his own.

Dave is sociable with most other dogs and could live with a compatible dog after a successful introduction at the centre.
