About Dottie

Dottie is a lovely girl who came to the centre as her racing days were over. Dottie is exceptionally friendly and has happily greeted everyone at the centre with enthusiasm. Sadly due to living a very limited life during her racing career she can be a little unsure around things we would normally take for granted. Traffic and bikes especially worry her as she just has not been exposed to them, she has seen the centres behaviourist and now has a training plan in place to help her overcome her insecurities. Adopters will have a phone call with our behaviourist before adoption to go through her training and give them some advise to help her settle in to a new home.

Dottie has a happy, bubbly nature and loves nothing more than having a run around our compound, throwing her toys around and basically just having fun. She makes you smile everyday with her funny and quirky antics, her adopters will need to have a secure garden or access to a dog park so she can have a run and do her zoomies. Dottie really make the most fantastic addition to the family.  

Dottie is suitable to live with another compatible dog after a successful introduction at the centre and can live with secondary school age children.
