About Thelma

Thelma is a sweet girl who came to the centre via the Local stray Dog Service. Thelma is a nice dog who has found being in kennels a little overwhelming. She is now settling well and we are seeing her character flourish, although she can still be a little shy when meeting new people. Once she she knows you, she is such a loving and affectionate girl who quickly will become your best friend, this is why it is so sad that she was simply discarded for reasons we will never know.

Thelma is really nice natured dog, she walks well on the lead, is sociable with most dogs and just loves being out and about and enjoying the Yorkshire countryside. She is an active dog so will need a family who like the outdoors and going on wonderful adventures, she is here and ready to make amazing memories with her new family. If you give Thelma a chance she will give you her whole heart.

Thelma could share her home with another dog after a couple successful meets at the centre and could live with children aged 14 years and over.
